A fun beginners monoprinting workshop in the inspiring surroundings of Oaks Park Printmakers.
Monoprinting is a fun, beginner friendly printmaking technique with which you produce one off prints. In this face to face workshop in the inspiring setting of Oaks Park Printmakers’ studio, Kate Marsden will guide you through a variety of monoprinting methods, and you will leave with your own handmade prints.
When monoprinting you produce one off, unique prints, rather than a series of idential images - you can combine a number of different techniques and work in your own style. It is useful to have a few ideas with regard to subject matter before the workshop, but not essential.
All materials are provided, but please bring your own apron and gloves (if you wish to wear them to protect your hands), and please wear old clothes.
The workshop will run from 10am – 2pm. Please bring your own refreshments, however there is a café on site in Oaks Park.
