Last Saturday a group of 6 of us headed out west to explore the Art Deco stations on the Piccadilly Line. We had a really good time, and the rain held off. We also spent a good 6 hours walking around and taking photos! None of us managed to sketch on the day. but I now have 300+ images to work through, so you can be sure to see some little drawings from me at some point. In the meantime here are some of my favourite images...
Our next walk is planned for Saturday 1 October and will take in the stations at the south end of the Northern Line (Clapham South to South Wimbledon) and lots more besides. If you're interested in joining us, drop me a line firstname.lastname@example.org to be kept up to date and to get full details nearer the time.
To see the rest of Sophie's images of the day, take a look at her Flikr account.
We used Blue Crow Media's Art Deco London Map as our guide for the day - I received my copy for free.
