Stephanie Wilkinson

Those of you who've been with me for a while may recall that last year I visited artist Stephanie Wilkinson in her studio in Teddington (you can see the post here). Stephanie had a new exhibition of work on display at The Fountain Gallery in East Moseley (just around the corner from Hampton Court station - it's a lovely spot) and I visited last week. Sadly the exhibition has now finished but you can contact Stephanie via her website and keep an eye out for more exhibitions to follow later in the year.

Here were some of the highlights for me...

I think this painting was my favourite - such a vibrant mix of colours and patterns (oh and I want the jug to be real!).

Stephanie spent some of the time she had in the gallery reworking some older prints - I loved the way she added pattern with the Posca pens.

A large, more abstract image. This is the sort of thing that appeals more to Mr M (I'm continuing to work on him as I'd love something like this in my house!).

Another beautiful still life. I caught myself admiring the framing of this one too - sets it off wonderfully!
