I recently visited the Sonia Delaunay exhibition at Tate Modern and was completely blown away by it. Several people had told me that I must go, and now that I've been I know I must go again before it closes! For photo credits see end of post.
The exhibition charts Sonia's entire career from her early paintings, through to stunning textile designs and more. She was a prolific artist, designer and businesswoman and the exhibition was really inspiring. Fans of colour, pattern, fashion and painting will love it.
A large room featuring fabric swatches, clothes and accessories was the highlight for me - if I hadn't needed to be somewhere else I think I could've stayed in there all day! This was one of those occasions where I was left with no choice but to buy the book, which I've been looking through ever since.
The EY Exhibition: Sonia Delaunay is at Tate Modern until 9 August 2015.
