I recently chose a very cold, windy day for a little stroll along the South Bank and a trip to Sheila Hicks: Foray into Chromatic Zones at the Hayward Gallery.
The exhibition takes up two rooms in the gallery's Project Space (free entry!) and is the artist's first solo show at a UK gallery. It features a selection of her beautiful, colourful fibre art works which have been created as a response to the gallery's location and design.
The exhibition closes on Sunday (19 April) - so do pop in if you're down that way this weekend.
While I was there I took a few more pictures to add to my South Bank collection! Here's the Royal Festival Hall and London Eye from a different angle...
And a few more shots of the area around the Hayward Gallery - I really need to plan a proper photography trip up there soon (preferably on a warmer day!).
