Another happy post day last week, when I received my first ever metre of my fabric from Print Me Pretty.
Print Me Pretty offer on demand fabric printing, and are based in Surrey (so not far from me!). They're a relatively new company, who are sponsoring my blog - I saw this as a great opportunity to try out their service and see how my designs come out printed onto their fabrics.
Currently they're just offering a medium weight 100% plain cotton, but they hope to expand the range soon. From my point of view this is fine, as that's what I'm working with at the moment.
Previous printing experiments with other companies have left me very disappointed with fabric and print quality, but Print Me Pretty got it spot on first time - I'm so happy with how my Bankside design has come out!
The quality of the cotton is lovely. It has some texture (which you can hopefully see in the image above) and is a slightly heavier weight than my usual fabric, which I don't think is a bad thing. The service was also super quick - from uploading to fabric in my hands in just over a week.
I'm looking forward to trying out some of my other designs on their fabric soon.
