If you saw Monday's post featuring Hand Press Print, you'll already be aware of the eightbyeight Project. I have also submitted a piece for this exhibition and here it is.
The eightbyeight Project supports the work of Camille's Appeal, the children's brain tumour charity. Donations of work from across the UK and beyond will be exhibited at Eden Court in Inverness in April and all profits from the sale of the donated works will go to the charity.
My submission (imaginatively entitled Squeeee!) incorporates my screen printed 50's City Fabric with cross stitch, Liberty print bicycle fabric and quilting. It is intended to capture the excitement of a child's first trip out in the city on a brand new bike.
