I'm always a sucker for a pretty new craft book, but a Christmas one, well that's just too exciting!
I've been making my own Christmas decorations for a while, but I'm always looking out for new ideas, and Mollie Makes Christmas is full of inspiration, whether you're an experienced crafter or not.
The first project in the book is just beautiful, needled felted Christmas cottages by the very talented Gretel Parker, I think learning to needle felt may be next year's resolution (you may recall that it was crochet this year).
On the subject of crochet, I think the project I'm most likely to have a got at is the granny square garland - nice and simple and I can use up my stash!
Other favourites are the amigurumi-style crochet reindeer, polar pals finger puppets and the very simple but effective paper string of stars garland.
If you're now itching to get making for Christmas, why not try to win a copy of the book? Click here to find out how!
Mollie Makes Christmas is published by Collins & Brown on 4 October.
