I spent the best part of this week on a Textile Design and Print short course at Chelsea College of Art & Design.  Had a great time and was very sad to leave!
I produced lots of different samples, the best of which are shown here.  The design for my screen print is based on a number of my paintings and drawings, including Park Hill, various other buildings in Sheffield and The Guildhall and office buildings on the South Bank in London.

Various samples of discharge printing, opaque binders and basic screen printing onto already printed textiles (in this case a lovely Grayson Perry Liberty fabric).

My first screen prints.  The second photo also shows some of the original artwork.

A rotated two colour print.

A turquoise opaque binder.

Flocking and foiling.
You can find details of upcoming short courses at Chelsea (and St Martin's, Wimbledon and the other University of the Arts colleges) here
