Had a great time at the V&A on Saturday. Went to see The Power of Making and also joined Stitch London to make a small blue sheep. Here he is, I didn't name him as I though that would make it harder when it came to releasing him into the wild.
Once completed, I abandoned him with a nice lady in the sculpture gallery....
The highlight of my day however, was almost certainly the moment when I finally met my hero Plarchie.
If you'd like to find out more about Stitch London, or join one of their events, details are on their website - http://www.stitchldn.com/
The Power of Making was good. My favourites had to be the Fendi cross stitch kit and the spray on dress by Manel Torres. More details can be found here - the exhibition runs until 2 January.
Thought I'd finish with a photo of the beautiful Timber Wave by Amanda Levete Architects which currently adorns the entrance to the V&A.
